Hi. I've not reall done much tiling before but am renovating the house so will be doing three bathrooms/toilets.
I am just about to tile a shower enclosure onto skimmed plasterboard . Have tanked with a BAL kit and bought 8mm thick 60x30 cm tiles and Mapei Keraflex adhesive. I've had different...
can any one point in the right direction as to where I can get a solid bed trowel? I am looking for the golf ball kind, i have plenty of U and slanted shaped trowels.
Hello all
I am about to lay 600 x 300 x 10mm porcelain tiles to a good level old concrete floor. I have read different opinions for which trowel sizer to use.
I was going to use a 10mm x 10mm notched.... and back butter the tiles. Will this be ok?
Thanks
Martin
I think he is on here as he is on the TTA board. He very much rates these trowels and apparently zee germans have been bending old trowel combs over for 25 years to obtain a true 6,8,10...12mm bed !
Has anyone used them before and what are your opinions ? I was dubious until we had a chat...

This video should help members that find it a little difficult to understand how this can be achieved.

Hi everyone
I have received a delivery of 600 x 600 Basalt tiles - they were suposed to be 15mm but are only 13mm.
I have prepared the floor with slc at two different levels - one for the main floor and one for the shower area which is being tiled in a 10mm mosaic.
I now need to make up the...
I would just like to do a small review on these.
They are completly useless! I can't stress this enough! From applying the adhesive to cleaning to using in harmony with your bucket trowel to move your adhesive around, it fails on every level!
I'm baffled to see what the whole point of it...
