Hi all, some advice would be greatly appreciated.
So the builder messed up in the loft during a major renovation in our house.
In short, we have UFH boards laid out throughout the loft room and the en suite. At this point, the polypipe type foam boards and attached pipes are all on the same...

Please could you advise which is the best thin screed to go with for UFH?
I know it will be a liquid of some sorts and I presume 40mm is minimum I can get away with? I will be tiling on top. Im trying to maximise the amount of insulation I can get underneath a Block and Beam floor with...
Hi,
I am replacing a tiled floor and will need to overlay with 6mm backer board. This is on top of 15mm ply over wet UFH in dry screed.
I need a backer board with the highest k-value (lowest R-value). So far from the data sheet 6mm hardiebacker has a k-value of 0.19W/mK. Does anyone know...

So I've narrowed it down to:
Raychem T2, prowarm or Devi mats. All come with a Wi-Fi thermostat
Devi and raychem seem slightly cheaper but I'm more interested with the quality. EBay seems to be the place to buy these mats, significantly cheaper than online retailers.
The areas I'm looking at...
Hello everyone, we are in need of some sound advice on a dilemma we cant get 100% answers to, we are having a single storey extension and knocking out the back wall and dining room wall to form one large open kitchen/living area.

A new ufh screed is going to be laid in an extension. The existing flooring is a floating floor with plenty of 'bounce'. Customer would like both floors tiled. Old floor is approx 70m2 and the new screed is approx 30m2.
Is it possible to do this as I don't think cost is an issue?

Hello all.
I was hoping for some help with UFH issue. There seems to be many posts with similar issues but no answer fits all.

The room is approx 34sqM

I have a house which has block and beam with 2 depths of space to play with for Water UFH.
I have either a 55mm screed or a 85mm screed (house on 2 levels). I have dug holes so I can see what I have but not dug up all the screed yet. I also have timber suspended too but this I guess is far...
Hi guys,
Any opinion on the best adhesive used with wet UFH for marble tiles?
Also any advice on tiling over an existing porcelein floor with electric UFH - did want to rip it up and start fresh but the tiled surface is very solid, so felt tiling straight over would be good (and wouldn't have...

Also would you level the...
Hello fellas,
New to this forum thought I'd get some opinions on my method as I've never dealt with tiling over gypsum liquid screed. I also have wet underfloor heating over 40m2. The screed was laid 4 weeks ago after 9 days I sanded the laitence off and primed with Weber. My plan is to use...
I want to get a wet UFH installed in my house ( just over the ground floor) - which now has concrete floor and laminate flooring. No extension or anything, just retrofitting wet UFH ( hate my radiators!)
