Hi all, I'm in the process of building/renovating my house. I have had the pleasure of doing or being involved with all aspects of the build, as when I have had trades in they have come in with the understanding that they teach me then WE do the job. In this way I have learnt so much, I have...

Hi all,
I would like recommendation for a wet tile cutter for a DIYer who is attempting his first job.
I intend to lay 600x600 floor tiles so need a wet cutter that can handle this size tile. Also the possibility of resin quartz tiles being involved in the job.
Thanks

Hi all.
I’ve tiled previously (ceramic tiles on walls only), with what I would deem as success. However, the more you read up on the subject, the more you find out there is to learn and so I want to do my current bathroom properly.
I’m about to tile above my bath, where there will...

I have a grey slate tile (Oppdalskifer, Norway) with natural surface (300x340x50mm, indoor use, without any wear). What could I use to make the tile much darker and at the same not being glossy.
I would prefer natural products, and I'm happy for DIY suggestions.

The walls are all plastered, I am...

Hello Everyone!
First off, let me thank everyone for all the wonderful knowledge and more importantly, wisdom, on this forum. I am a DIY'er and not even much of that, I work in IT and well, I think that says it all. That being said, I'm hiring a family friend to remodel 2 bathrooms in my home...
