Hope you're all keeping well. It's that time of year again for me and the mrs has me redoing our bathroom. It was very much a last minute decision, but we have a little one on the way and I think she's nesting!
Anyway, the bathroom has 2 brick walls and 2 partitioned ones. They are...

Its been a few years since I was last on here but I'm back as I have another bathroom to do :) This time I'm using 300 x 600 porcelain tiles. The local tile place is a Granfix stockist. They used to be Mapei so previously I used Primer G, Keraflex Maxi and Keraquick with latex additive. Whats...

Hello all,
I cam across the forums on my search for DIY disaster stories. I work for Lion Television and I'm hoping to hear some case stories from people so thought it might be relevant for some people on this site who are perhaps facing these problems. I understand that you come here to get...

G'day people,
As a Aussie living in England, I am one for great deals and good prices. I have been doing up my new house and replacing the horrid plumb coloured bathroom (as my girlfriend does not like it), and I have looked around all the main suppliers for the right stuff. I have found that...

I'm just a enthusiastic DIYer, enthusiastic but exceeding slow. I like things done right, (if you cant do it right, dont do it). Tend to be over precise in my DIY because of my engineering traning It takes me ages to research and plan jobs, this forum is for my research.
I just need to know what...

The floor tiles were lifting due to the bad flooring install
This leads me on to asking for your educated advice,
1. In your opinions what wet room try/base would you suggest I install (1200x1200mm)?
2. The existing...

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for the best, simplist and most reasonably priced way to tank a wet room.
I need a 1500 x 800 deck and was thinking of buying the Maxxus 1500 x 800 kit for £400 but wondered if its better to buy the deck and drain and...

Did you watch it tonight? It was filmed about 40 miles from me and a lot of the contractors are from here (anglesey) including the slate roofers and the old plumber doing the copper work. Nice to see some locals helping out a worthy cause.

Original tiles in my bathroom (half tiled walls) have no finishing edging on the top sharp edge which is not a good look, can I retro fit some sort of finishing strip on this top edge?
