Hey guys, being relatively new to tiling professionally and having taken on a job that was honestly a step too far too soon, I have been concentrating on floors and single walls and have built up my confidence again. I am gonna practice at home doing four walls in small wc. My question to you...
I have a full kitchen to tile, I have stripped everything back, fixed all the holes, and removed anything that flakes and all the other crap and leveled mostly everything + Have Sanded every crap from the walls off to make a good base. However the wall is dusty now from sanding which I feel...
Hi, sorry, I know this is a question asked a thousand times, but I can't find a clear enough answer that matches my particular situation. I think I'm good to go, but I wanted to make sure.
Walls to be tiled are red-brick which has been plastered (and tiled) before, there's a nice skim remaining...
Helping a friend out with a small bathroom and one of the walls is pretty uneven and not particularly plumb.
I've levelled it out with a bit of rapid set to get it flatter but wondered what you guys do with regarding getting it plumb. Its not massively out, just want to get it as good as...

Hi,
I have just finished tanking my shower ready for a re-tile. I have got loads of the mapegum left over. Is there any advantage to putting that on the rest of the painted plaster board walls (after priming) ready for the new tiles? I have tried to get off the paint that is there but i think...
Hello all... I would be really greatful for some ideas and advice about tiling some VERY uneven walls...that I want to keep uneven...the walls are hundreds of years old and full of charm...a bath and shower above the bath are going next to the walls... I am struggling to know how to go about it...
Been seeing a few tilers posting wetrooms on twitter with no wall tanking. I've always tanked anything deemed to be a wet area, whether wall or floor, in a wetroom and wondering where the rest of you stand.
Twitter is a bit back slappy imo, with nobody telling anybody they're doing it wrong...
Absolutely battered from work this week.

I've got my schluter pack through today, couple of freebies and some papers, just reading about the ditra heat on the walls, and the ditra heat duo which I hadn't heard of. Has anyone fitted it on the walls? I'm keen to!
I purchased this system to use on large tiles for floors and walls.
When I bought the system I thought the bases would be flat but they are if fact quite curved which raises the tile some distance away from the bed (6mm) before tightening the red top.
There doesn't seem to be a flat base version...
