Abrasive pads to clean grout

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

White fine emulsifying pads are good for most tiles/grout hazes. If you have a more textured tile or the grout is properly caked on, the black coarse ones may work better.... downside is the black ones can slightly disintegrate leaving annoying little dots all over the place and can potentially scratch polished surfaces. Personally, I have a small stash of the LTP ones but there are many brands about and chances are they are all made in the same factory and simply rebranded (no difference between the BAL and LTP ones)

Shouldn't do if the grout is set hard enough. If you are also using a grout residue remover as well, it can break down and wear thin layers of the surface if you rub it too hard, but just water it should be fine.
