I need a new wet cutter after my old rubi died today.
been looking at the dewalt 24000 but have heard conflicting reports.
have a budget of about a grand to £1500 tops.
what do you lads rate as the best in my price range?

i reversed the van over the rubi by the way, which was clever.
cheers

National Masonary Ltd , Bishops Auckland Do A Fantastic Range Of Wet Cutters .
I Got The Italian Made Manta Aluminium 120 Last Year And Paid £1650 Inc
Side Table And Gauge.
That Cuts Up To 1200mm And Is Easily Transportable Coz Tray Legs Etc Aluminium.only 60 Kgs For A Big Saw.

Head Runs On A Dual Rail ( Vital For Real Accuracy On Long Cuts)
. 2.50 Hp Motor.

I Looked Carefully At At Least A Dozen Different Makes At Verona Show And This Was The Best.
You Can Buy This Cutter I Believe A Smaller Version To Cut Up To 800mm. So That One Should Be Cheaper.

Also Got Sigma 10m And 9m.
Both Have Lasted Over Ten Years Each Used Every Day Of Week
You Cant Ask More Than That.
Rubi Used To Be Like That With Their Cutters 15 Years Ago But Not Sure About Then Now.
Only Problem Is I Dont Know Where You Can Get Them Other Than Trimline And You Never Know With Them And Their Discounting If Youre Getting A Good Deal Or Not.
