Advice Required. Door Threshold For Tile To (probably) Timber But Unknown Height.

They don't know what they want. I certainly don't know what they want. Only thing I know is it'll probably be wrong anyway so damned if I do...

Schluter do a profile that adjusts to different heights. Can't member off hand what it's called but can find out later. Basically u fit it to tile side and there's an adjustable side that can move depending on floor covering. I think! Haha but something along those lines does exist, Schluter are a bit like Rainsco, they do it all! Haha
Where is he anyway?

You could also just use one of those flattish lengths that you cut down and simply screw the thing to the floor. You can unscrew that then to fit the other floor and hopefully screw it back down again after.

I would make a temp one until the rest is laid. Fortunately I make all my own timber thresholds as I have the kit to do so. Mate supplies me with off cuts of various hard woods so I can knock one up made to measure in 15 mins and charge a decent amount for it.

I do like Schulter stuff, but they're a pretty penny though!

I just ended up tiling in the stainless trim.
