if something is going to take longer than you priced don't speed up , just take the hit on the money. learn from it the next time. it is harder to repair the damaged reputation than earn the lost money
All good advice above listen to your mentor, if they tell you they know every thing about tiling, they are kidding themselves. A good tiler never stops learning, we must keep up with the changes in our noble trade, that is why I still love the challenge each job brings.
An old saying "there is no such thing as a bad student, only bad teachers" enjoy the job, happy tiling folks.
Best advice..?
Stop whinging and get on with it and whilst your on make a cuppa , then sweep up but not before you knock a mix up after you bring me some MORE tiles... Now hurry up.. 🙂
