Advice to share - Blackberry's and back-ups

For all you Blackberry users; don't forget to regularly back-up your Blackberry to your computer.

My husband found out to his horror yesterday that his Blackberry had crashed and needed a full operating system install to repair it. He lost all his phone numbers, email settings, download applications, pictures that weren't stored to the memory card and so on...

so the moral of this story is, back it up, regularly

aargh nightmare Liz, I don't have a blackberry but I always back up photies, accounts etc onto my external hard drive.

he's now upstairs backing it up to the ancient desktop computer in the spare bedroom :lol:

Not nice, but to save at least some of the heart ache, and imho the most important, back up contacts to sim card, that way you have them saved even if your phone does one.
