Anyone feeling the heat?

I certainly am at the minute,i'll not say it's nice because my phone never stops either !
I have at least 14 jobs booked in now with 3 of them new builds.
I jumped on my bike this evening and went for a spin to release.
Pity we couldn't just turn it into money quick,lol.

I have one good un Dom,have also let out a bit of work to two top rate lads lately too.
Took another job this evening and on way home tomorrow i have yet another to measure up,the joys of tiling i guess.

I'm glad to say things have really picked up for me, although it does seem to be all at once, so although probably 4 weeks work at the mo, it's going to be a long hard slog.

i am made up for you joe i have that nice feeling now too. we have houses to render now right into sept. i have put the word out i am back in the plastering business and old customers have already started to call..its like the good old days. £££££££

Hi Pebbs,
It wasn't a case of me not wanting to travel across the border,lol. I have 3 jobs in the south of Ireland at the minute and as i said even done a big job in Westmeath 2 years ago,just too busy to drop and run anywhere.I was lucky to even get to Liverpool on saturday and even luckier to meet the famous Ed from Aston Tiling
I'm sure yo know all about pressure Lynn
Hope you got all sorted down in Westmeath.

It was a bit of a nightmare Joe, every single piece of marble had to be re-cut on site, as the drawings were out :mad2: I ended up sending another two masons out there, but in the end it looked beautiful. I suspect now the client will put the airfares up, I did suggest we put a coinbox on the bathroom doors so he can see how it feels having to pay to go to the loo! I have some video of it, but cant put it on here due to the f'ing and blinding of a certain person. When they dumped that extra shower room on us at the end we had to refuse it, as we had run over time. A couple of lads came down from Antrim to do that, but they werent very friendly.

My second contact would have been more friendly and closer like me to westmeath that the Antrim lads.but as long as job was done right thats what matters.you sound like a woman tiling contractor i done work for a few years ago.lol.onwards and upwards miss pebbs.

I was on a big block of appartments for her a couple of years ago,she would pull in with her merc,hop out,get boots on and yellow coat!
then a tour of site with foreman etc,what a woman! knew everything about fixing,layouts etc
And could talk good money:smilewinkgrin:
