The tape was plenty sticky in mine,

Still got a bit of the gum stuck to the hairs on my arm though from 'pasting' the tape.

I hadnt used one before, I won it at the last CTD trade day.

I know what you mean about the Gum,When I got in yesterday my mrs thought i had been involved in some kind of "dirty protest" with it being dark brown and all!

No it's not, it's a right pain in the proverbial to apply.
Rather stick to aqua defence..
Then you are not mixing it correctly. You can mix it wet to apply with a brush or a roller and you can mix it stiff for filling gaps. It is IMHO the best tanking paint on system on the market.

This is a rare occasion where I'm going to disagree with Stef. Deano is, in my opinion, spot on here, this is by far the best liquid tanking system available at present. I've heard tilemaster have something in the pipeline to compete with it, let's hope it's good.

I used it a few months ago for a shower & mixed it up to go on with a roller & hated it.
It went everywhere.
I mixed it tight to fill in a couple of holes then mixed another batch wet & I just couldn't get on with it.
I watched a demo at a trade show & they made it look so easy but I couldn't replicate what they had done.
