Bagged or Tubbed

Wayne, I would now use a powdered standard set adhesive, once mixed Iv'e got 5 hours working time, previously I have used tubbed but prefer bagged now.
Once mixed I find it much quicker to spread on the wall which makes up for the time mixing.

the only problem with bagged is you have to use battens and they are a pain. i prefer bagged myself as you know it will set rock solideven if i have to bed out

Ardex X7 will hold quite large tiles without batterns

with the x7 onto plaster will it need ardion 90 in the mix

I always use battons even with tubbed, doesn't take me long to get them on, so it's not aproblem.

i found that out tweny odd years ago there are very few tiles you can use bucket on nowdays and it shrinks and skins and i dont find it cheaper Pete:hurray:

Never had any problems using tubbed adhesive for any ceramics that I have fitted, always stuck like glue.
