banana sandwiches were a staple in every child's diet when I was young. ready made baby food wasn't really as good as it is now so my mum used to feed me soft banana on bread it's been ages since I've had a banana sandwich. bread, thin layer of spread, sliced banana, another slice of bread on top.... try it Mark, you know you want to :drool5:

not in my house it wasn't, it was tomato ketchup sadwiches! me and my brother could put a few of those away, the thought of it now makes me wanna 😛uke:

and sometimes it isn't - I tried beef stew and pickle - yuk. Was introduced last year in Newcastle to Ham and Peaspudding - that one is really nice.....yum yum!!

As with banana sandwiches also odd when you discover some people have never had ham and peaspudding before

Mash the banana up, add a bit of sugar and one (or all ) of the following -crumbled cadburys flake, honey or raisins

Then a couple of bits of thick white bread. nicely toasted with loads of butter.....magic! :drool5:
