Best 1200mm+ wet cutter for stone

Just to keep you all informed, we decided to buy the Rubi DS 250 1500.
It made sense as we thought if we are going to go big then we might as well push the boat out and go really big! With a 1500mm cutting length, hopefully we can cater for almost any stone job that comes are way.
I went over to Rubi in Essex and they were very helpful. They had 1 in stock so they got it out the box for me and let me have a look and a play with it, we put it up against other machines they had in stock and also the hand held water fed saws. After a chat with them we all agreed this was the best way forward.
I'm sure its a wise choice but I'll give you a full review once we've had it on site and seen how it performs.

Blue ripper jr, more accurate than the flex I'm my opinion, but that's taking nothing away from the flex as that's a superb bit of kit as well, and the eagle edger attachments for doing mitres etc are the best I have used for on site fabrication, only down side is the amount of water they chuck out, so need to take that in to consideration.

Or look at the new kera flex system by sigma, another rail system, but for dry cutting with grinders

Tried to look at your link on 250 1500 and the lady asked if I wanted the full 1 hour session with oil and warm towel!
But the amazing thing was her name was Ruby!

Is it possible to score the stone with an angle grinder and then snap with a sigma? Or would stone still spit where the veins are running?

Just another crazy thought lol. I have heard that a manual cutter has cut trav before whether it was a fluke im not sure.
