Never done that Brian, used to be a card man, poker, 3 card brag and shoot pontoon.

Have'nt done it for years though, could'nt afford to play now, one bad habit.

Like a game or two of 3 card brag, no skill (suited me) just a quick way to loose or win big! Used to go to the casinos in Abeerdeen, good laugh after a night out. Leave the credit cards at home though!

Fortunately, never ever booked a winning horse when all my mates were winning loads so I never got the bug whereas they did and still lose fortunes.

Won a couple of quid on the dogs once when my girlfriend was a dog show judge !!! and knew what she was looking at! A couple of quid on the Lotto is my lot these days

When we found out my first recaction was what this would do for the UK's economy but instantly the implications suddenly made me very worried as we are so stretched at the moment

Howmany of us are gamblers on here?I thought we could share tips on horses/dogs that we might get.What do you think?I mostly stick to the football coupon and have recently started betting in BETFRED because they do a coupon called goals galore..this coupon is where you can pick say 5 games that you think both teams will score a goal in and this is how you win if you get them correct,i have been pretty lucky with it and its worth trying.Do any of you guys use this coupon?

wiliiaima hill's has been doing this for a while brian,i bet on it quite regular,try not to pick any more than 3 games,you virtually get evens or 10/11 on both to score/both bot to score so even a £5 bet will return about £40,i fluked 5 teams the week man u got dumped by fulham and liverpool took a doing from pompey(i had both not to score thinking the big to would run out ?-o winners) but they 2 didn't score and i ended up with £147 for a £5

my bro in law is involved with horses and is very close to a jockey, one that was involved in the betting scandle a few years back, he just started riding again, but im staying well clear of that.
