Read this in todays paper and wept as to the state Britain is now in.

getting idiots like that off the streets is very usefull to the rest of us

this country has got things the wrong way round

so a mans life being ruined is not worth a custodial sentance these days

lock the judge up for his criminal sentancing

I think he should be made to work, hard labour type, for years and years, some unpleasant job, and give all his earnings apart from a small allowance to his victim. If there was still a hard labour sentence I reckon the crime rate would be drastically reduced.
