Hi guys,

I have been asked by a customer to lay ceramic floor tiles have always told people not to use ceramic on floor as it can break easy. But she is no budging on the tiles. It's only a small area 3x2 m2 in a kitchen. Anyone have any tips or advise on laying ceramics on floors as I've never done it. I haven't seen the substrate yet but guessing its concrete. Thanks in advance.

Yes Don't !

If you haven't the skills don't waste their money and have the moral ethics of getting/advising the employing of a skilled tradesman!

there are some tiles from the sheds that clearly states wall and floor tile on the boxes, there made by johnsons , and I know a few tilers have been asked to fit them on a floor, and imo there just a wall tile....if it's these tile's then I can understand your reservation's .......however theres no problem fixing a proper ceramic floor tile to a floor..
