Only ever used it the once and that was yesterday i bought it cos my usuall supplier of webber ran out so bought 10 tubs (get one free with 10 tubs) and then they gave me tub of granfix standard for FREE!!!

The way I see it with adhesives and grouts is the same as everything else, you get what you pay for.
I personally think you probably cant go wrong with any of the 4 biggest adhesive manufacturers, BAL, Ardex, Mapei or Weber.
If stuffs cheap then its generally for a reason and that will be that the stuff its made of isnt as good or there isn't as much of the good stuff in it.
With the above brands your probably paying a bit for the name and in the case of BAL your also paying for the fantastic back up you get if you have a problem. When i worked there if there was a problem on site we would generally have somebody on site within 24 hours, is this the case with other companies?
Perhaps the best way to go is to find an own brand adhesive in an independant store made by one of the above manufacturers.
