ive been helping my pal out who runs is own comp doing concrete reinforced construction.

working in leeds st marks new uni campus

i deffo wont be making this my new career, started wednesday , laying visqueen and doing insulation that was easy , then helping fixers do the reinforced steel work that was ok , boxing pipes before concrete arrives ,

pump arrives , followed by concrete , wellies on im ready, pushing and pulling concrete , then on poker taking all the air out
63 m3 done and im buggered , then my other pal who is the foreman c,mon rob just got 2 walls to pour then were done about 10m3

slept like a baby that night

thursday same again but this time no pump ,concrete poured into large bucket of 1 of the diggers , then poured were he could reach
,back breaking work another 60m3 poured and ive about had it

THe largest concrete pour I was on with my wellies was the Peterborough community church...... 600 m3 over two days.

Yu should get him into self compacting concrete..... Tha is dead easy...does most of the work for you.

i know no about it but im sure there is a reason he dont use it , maybe price
