Lessons learnt.
1. Levelling kits don't mean you can overdo the adhesive and get away with it.
2. Work cleaner. Kick plates gonna take some work.
3. When levelling a floor, keep it even. Humps and divets caused by the heated and unheated areas can catch you off guard if you don't fix them first.
4. Plan the layout of ufh mats PROPERLY.
5. Just because you have the theory, doesn't automatically mean you can make an easy job of tiling. But this is a start.
6. Clean tools and buckets after use.
7. Never work in a conseratory on the hottest day of the year so far.
8. Back buttering make one hell of a difference.
9. Test your cutter before use. Being only 2mm out of square can make a HUGE difference. And not in a good way.
10. Ask the wifes permission before using her car washing bucket for grout.
