I have seen first hand how teaching takes over your life...it doesnt become a career.
I ask again. Can you explain why they are striking?
Cam, are they striking cos they have to work in crap conditions, sometimes in snow in rain or in council houses full off dirt, muck dog/cat poo, mites, fleas.
Or is it because they have to heft tons of materials about a week, ruining there body joints , or knelling down in wet/damp conditions.
Or do they sometimes have to wait weeks and weeks for money, even thousands which have paid out there own pocket for lads or materials
,do they have to have 4 months off work, no pay no money from anywhere through illness, or when the flu strikes do they go to work cos they god dam have too.
Jeez bud need i go on.
Look they work hard, no doubt, they have to put up with unruly kids,no doubt, they have to put thee hands in there pockets when times are hard , its a hard life, its a rubbish life, they chose it though, same as most of us who have chosen to do a job which includes years of training .
They aint winning any fans, but do they give a poo, no.
Oh and just outa curiosity, what are they striking for 😉.
