yes but but you can then just remove the messy edge with a straight cut along the mitre about the width of the wheel. If your trying to remove the back edge along a straight cut then naturally the blade will want to kick away from the tile. Try progressive passes going deeper each time so their are not too much pressure on the blade.

I'll try that and get back to you. Cheers.

Sorted, the answer was to buy a new blade. Picked up a porcelain blade this morning and Im now getting good straight cuts and mitres are neat and tidy. Minimal chipping and running true through the saw.

Maybe just the stock blade wasn't up to the strength of today's porcelain tile.

Thanks all for you help.

Went for the 250/25 for £90 ex VAT but they also do,

105/22
115/22
125/22

Id consider one for my grinder, it be handy for sockets etc if only a bit smaller.

Take it you get on well with the inverted A on the grinders?

Yes, I have 4 grinders, 2 are fitted with inverted a, one has cupped wheel and one has Marckist 850, pretty good blades and reasonable price. I did ruin one by cutting metal trim with it, need to re expose the diamonds in it. How much was blade?
