every half hour or so I hear a noise and would be wide awake listening... fireworks, noisy beggars leaving halloween parties, next door neighbours smoking at their back door, taxi's driving round the block and then lying next to the human radiator didn't help. and I was lying there thinking I was starving hungry, like my stomach hadn't eaten for days, yet I'd had 2 jacket spuds smotherred in chicken curry... oh and I had a headache... gonna start sleeping with my ear plugs in again and my golf putter next to my bed
