I think the estimate i gave is fair. Around the 240 - 250 mark is a good price, bearing in mind its 1 days work, assume 10hrs thats £20 per hour. Not many people earn more !!

Interesting that you say that it is only 10hrs work. When you factor in the time it will take for you to visit to assess the work, prepare your estimate, go to your suppliers to get your materials, travel to and from the actual job, clean your tools and then invoice your work and other administration, is it really £20/hr?
