floor tiles running parallel?

jesus! that is terrible!

thank god you lifted them and didnt pay a penny!

what a tosser of a tiler!

if you don't want to remove the skirtings it should be no problem for a decent tiler to leave a good finish up to the skirting and then caulk to finish. i normally just cut the architrave to go under

just seen this thread, I think the guy "tiling" was probably called Pythagoras with all those strange angles.

The guy can't be dealing with a full deck to have done that, he must have just plonked a tile down at random and carried on from there.

With tiling a lot of the time and skill goes into setting out to have equal cuts either side and at the other ends of the floor/wall and not have any nasty thin cuts, he may have made fair progress on day one (maybe?) but its all the angled cuts he would have had to do and we all know how that would have turned out.

Was this guy actually a tiler, or a handyman?

Was he using ready mixed adhesive or proper powdered stuff?

When I looked at the second lot of pictures I thought - some people will complain about anything:lol:.

One of the best I've seen for a while.

It's just fortunate he didn't have a tile cutter as well or there would have been more waste.

Looks like he may of fallen for the old 100mm trick (misread the tape measure when setting out) glad you have it sorted

FFS that is one of the worst setting out i have ever seen...

If you require a GOOD!! tiler then let me know via PM and i will sort one for you..
