Everyone brings something different to the table on this forum, thats what I like about it. We can't be experts in everything, so if anyone has a question or wants an opinion there is always someone to turn to or get some advice from. There is a long list of people who know what they are talking about, so to pick out just one person, wouldn't really be fair. Thats my own opinion anyway.

Well i would like to nominate Garythetiler, he gives great advice, really knows his Trade inside-out and has a great knowledge of tile-cutting machines, and i thought if i was to have a project who would i like doing-it and i came up with Gary . simples......

I will never get sick of trying to help people John, I will strive to improve this noble trade as long as I can draw breath.

We must not let the skills die. My old masters would turn in their graves if they thought the skills passed on by them would be lost in the future.

Short courses are the beginning of the end of our trade, we need to keep the old skills alive.

I have to second what Phil wrote, I had to bin someone of before Christmas after 3 days, he said he had been tiling for 15 years, and the last job he had done was over at the Olympic Park...probably doing the security judging by the state of his tiling!
Everything had to be ripped out and started again.
The air was blue...dark blue!

That's a fantastic prize you've offered Gary, top man. Seeing as you've been kind enough to offer such a prize I've decided to get myself down off the fence and nominate Stef, he's posted consistently throughout the year, given excellent advice and there has been a vast amount of advice and knowledge shared, not to mention a fair few pictures.
