Surely the "Christian" (deliberate "") view of marriage should come from the belief that it was God who put a man and women together in the 1st place?
Just my two-penneth.
As for the equality agenda as I see it; it's now not enough for people to accept different beliefs and lifestyles and to happily live and let live. If they don't actually approve and celebrate them then they run the risk of being branded a bigot or homophobe (which actually annoys me as I'm not scared of anyone!)

And for the record I think that the general view of marriage these days is as throwaway as a 3 year car lease. No commitment required, trade in for a new model whenever you feel like it.
(I'm happily married 15yrs with 3 children and I value my marriage, work hard to maintain it and keep my promises no matter what)

Same as most, couldn't care less and i beleive you cant judge somebody until you are perfect yourself. But i also don't think it should be all over the place as i don't want my son to question who he is because he is influenced as a child. Are kids not confused enough in this day and age.
