Should i just stay clear of the job?

Plz help, TY in advance

I would say that if you have no experience of working with Granite then stay clear unless you like taking chances.

Neale i took 1 look at the ladys tiles and knew straight away i wud prob need a jcb to cut em lol tiles like granite and indian stone etc r specialist subjects.

If i was to put hand on heart have lost out on around 6 jobs since march last year due to not have the correct cutting equipment for tiles like Indian stone and granite plus a few other ones.

I have a sima 300 radial arm table wet cut saw, it has a 300mm blade and it cuts 30mm thick stone. I paid £200 for it and its a brilliant tool, won of my best buys.

hi mat...apart from the obvious things like wet cutting....make sure the floor is ultra flat...becasue these tiles are usually honed and rectified and a nice flat floor is a must to avoid lipping..........as for sealing...lithofin stainstop mn.....is spot on for this stone.......and use an adhesive suitable for the substrate.....also depending on the colour of the granite dictates adhesive colour .....if they are light tiles then lightly backskim to avoid shadowing..........

Got a lad coming on board with me to do it who has experience.
What should i price it per Sqm?
