Green buttons?

What are the green button thingys under everyone's avatar, Dave seems to be a splendid one to behold and enduro will become famous one day?
Are they measurements for posts or time served on the forum?

It is for your reputation...members can award reputation points...to a thread etc that you create.

Does anyone ever use this facility? How many reputation awards per square?

Starts at 10 points when a member joins...then next reputation square is 50 points and incremements of 100 points before your reputation changes again...

upto a max of 2000 points...so get handing those reputation points out..

I have had 3 or 4 messages saying " you have a new reputation comment" or similar, when I click on it because its flashing a load of threads come up, how do you find what has been said?

Next to the reputation given there will be a box with a reply in a thread, click on the reply and it will take you to your post that has been given points. All the threads your seeing are threads that you have posted in that have had replies since your last post in them and that you have not posted back in.
