We need a test, if a knock up some epoxy and some regular flexi grout tomorrow, besides swinging it from my b#ll end and see which grout snaps off first, how could we test the theories out?

Still no wiser...all I can say is the epoxy is a lot stickier, gonna end up being a Brazilian this experiment@Andystiletiling is doing the ultimate test today using his bellend as promised yesterday so should know for certain tonight

that said: no difference, only difference epoxy remains attached
ucp exits from the lines. (and it seems to me the most sensible answer.
