Ah - useful! Would that combination of hardibacker board and keraquick be suitable for outdoor fixings? For a mosaic fixed onto a brick garden wall?

i only had normal cement this morning m8,but i get your drift .Normally i would use rapid setting cement.

when you guys mention rapid setting cement, do you refer to something like postcrete or do you add a frost proofer rapid hardener type additive, or just a cement powder that's rapid hardening?

Ah, was afraid you might... that would only be any good if I was to create and install a mosaic there and then, being dependent on the weather etc..I'm very keen to continue creating things that can be delivered thoughout the country, even all finished and grouted, to either hung up like a picture to be taken down when desired, perhaps to move to a new place with the owner or if they want to enjoy it indoors in the winter.

However, I could do with knowing the best adhesive to use with a water+ frostproof board in case it wants to be permanetly installed, especially if I'm not there to do it and dependent on another tiler or tradesman waiting for instructions. Got a serious enquiry for a small commission in the North of Scotland today, YESS!! it's starting :hurray::hurray:....

Sorry but James hardi uk say hardi backer is not suitable for outside use and no warranty will stand if it is used that way...
