thanks for all the hints and replies, seem to have solved he problem.
After yet more googling (yawn ) I have found another product, AND received a generous sample.
It's called Invisiseal, and that's what it does. After using a colour enhancer, I engrave, and then seal it with
Invisiseal. The lines stay light in the rain One small engraving lay in a bowl of water for a whole day,
and it still looked good. That should resist the Devon rain :lol:
Tried the colouring in, but my lines are too fine. THANKS TO ALL
