I have a small team 2 regular tilers, one that comes and goes as he has a drink problem and my son sometimes helps out and i still fix every day , i do sub some work out when i am really busy to another couple of guys who are decent fixers so upto 6-7 when its manic just 3 -4 normally

It's my mates son, had him out about 7/8 weeks now & he wants to learn.
He never realised tiling was as hard!!! Thought you just stuck them to the walls & floors..
He's on a steep learning curve.

Always worked on my own until the beginning of this year when I got fed up subbying and decided to go after some contracts myself. I now keep 1-2 tilers (subbies) busy most of the time and a couple of floor layers too on a regular basis. The hardest part is trying to keep on top of the paperwork and cash flow can be a nightmare when there's a couple of big jobs running at the same time!!
