I went to Boston on Friday, I remembered on Thursday afternoon, I thought it was next month. :yikes: Half way to the airport I thought Id check for my passport....ummm Im sure Id packed it....but you know what thought did! turn the car around NOW!:yikes:
Well I got there and got the job done, and its good to be back.

Im a terror thats what Im like! Yes, there is granite in Boston, very nice stuff there, nice people, nice buildings, but theres no place like home. And why do americans measure everything in inches? it confuses me.

Lynn, one of my best friends is from Boston. It's one of the few large cities in the US that I haven't visited. I hope to get there sometime to see the sights. (Winter is NOT the time to go to Boston.:yikes I'm glad you had a nice visit.

lol, sometimes I cross metric measurements with imperial. I'll cut a tile for eg at 210mm x 10and 3/4 inches:smilewinkgrin:

I reallyhave no problem with the metric system. All lab science courses in school are run with metric measurements, so I got plenty of exposure to metric during school. Now that I have bought a bunch of Festool equipment for the shop, I've had to acquire a lot of metric rulers and other metric tools. The real thorn in my side is having to have full sets of metric tools in the shop and on the trucks. And many times we get products (cabinets, appliances, etc) that are a mix of Imperial and Metric :mad2::mad2:.
