 sorry that was a pathietic joke. i was pricing a fein multi master power tool set and thought they were a bit expensive around £300. i could do with this tool as i not only tile i do a bit of joinery work ie, doors, floors, skirting, decking, etc, etc, i would like this tool for triming the bottom of door frames for tile, wooden floors yo go under frame for a quality finish more importantly for expanding wood floors. i have no doubt this tool would be handy but it is pricey, and i dont think iwould use most of the accesories just the frame cutter. privously i used ahand saw but it is to slow and wasteing energy.any body used this tool or know of a simular one or a completey differnt way of doing this job. would appericate any and all info:thumbsup:

Used one for about 5 yrs now, excellent bit of kit. Fitted a door yesterday for a client, cutting hinge plates, doddle. Used it to trim a bath panel, Used it for trimming cornices on wall cabinets so the tiles can fit behind, door frames, skirting, tile trim, window trim........the list is endless as far as time saving goes it is invaluable.

There are posts about this in the forum - It's nowhere near as good as the Fein.

How good are these then?
I have my trusty hand saw placed on a tile for trimming doors and surrounds. A serrated grouting tool for removing grout. A hammer and chisel for cutting out hinges. Pad saw for those holes in plasterboard - what else does it replace? I love tools, but how versatile is this fein thing?
