Hi clays,

How are you doing now mate, we all have days like that when you feel so under pressure and paranoid. What dosent break us will make us stronger. When i think about some of the **** I've been through in the last year I wonder how I'm still doing tiling. Every new job is a challenge, never take anything for granted and allways remember you are only as good as your last job. Your grouting teqnique sound good to me. Swirl then clean.

I know exactly how you feel mate, I find it very hard to take any critisism of my tiling. Not that that happens much but I do take a bit to heart.

I think in this game mate you need thick skin. Life is too short. Next job you doo I bet you will try twice as hard. We need these experiences now and then to keep our standards up.

There are good times and bad times with this game try to stay level minded at all times never start to believe you are the best but dont get to upset with bad times

I remember one job I did, kitchen splash the customer arrived home from work. When she saw the job she stuck the lips on my cheek (seriously) I couldn't believe it.

And then you get onther customers in that moan about nothing. :mad2:

Stay on the level my man and you will be fine:thumbsup:

CLAYS TILES

Is the job finished yet Daz...lol how did it turn out m8,were you happy and was the client happy in the end?
yes m8,it took me 4 days in total (working 12 hours every day)
i was pleased with the tiling,i've never used this size tile b4,but i suppose i know for in the future!
apart from the school boy error of cutting too much off door frame,i don't see what they should be moaning about, the bloke said it was fine, the wife moaned at almost everything which is why i was getting stressed & fed up of the job,the tiles had to be cut using a grinder which was a pain, but overall i'm glad to see the back of the place!!!!
