View attachment 85729 I wouldn't pay if I wasn't happy and these 2 photos don't look good to me.
Who is to blame for this block of dark marble and look at the grout mess at the skirting.
Whilst not paying may go against the customer in court, and a straight win for the tiler. As we've seen a few times. I do agree, that that picture is bloody shocking!!!!! I've seen weekend warriors and emergency services personal on 4-on 4-off doing better jobs.

Well spotted pal.

hi guys

recently had a new bathroom tiled in our new loft conversion . Tiles were laid on top of ply but were told latex would be put underneath to level the floor? There was definitely something put down before adhesive that was left overnight. But now it's finished the tiles are not level at one end of the bathroom floor. Also the natural stone tiles to me look dirty now and now they have been sealed they are like that now for good? Or am I being too picky? If I'm right can the tiler do anything to remedy or myself, other than the obvious start again![/QUOTE]

This was my first post, I haven't raised shading as an issue and my comment in bold is hardly one from someone who is trying to wriggle out of paying the tiler. Perhaps reading all posts before making a judgement about me would help. Although there are quite a few now!

Some advice from me then...... nothing said on this forum will settle anything, legally.

The only thing the advice on here will do is either appease you or not.

Taking this forward, you need to get a Fired Earth rep in, the tiler back and possibly a sealing manufacturer expert in (by in I mean in your bathroom) so that this can be done scientifically to settle it. Distance finger pointing is like watching Midsomer Murders and guessing 'whodunnit' during the opening credits.
