Hey GRR - nice car! Bitumen aside, looking at your tiles, it occured to me - have you planned the setting out taking the grouting lines into account? Don't know how much you know, but you're not just starting from the outside edges in, are you? And do you know yet what type of tile it is you are using? It's not polished porcellain, is it? Just checking in case they need sealing first...

evening everybody

due to my hangover (last day in my old job yesterday, too much vodka drunk last night) hubby has taken the initiative today and has started to dry lay the tiles, plus spacers. he's meticulously figuring out which tiles need cutting lol!

the majority of whole tiles are down now, so i'll try and take a pic.

the tiles are porcelain, they don't look polished, so i assume they'd be very smooth and shiny if they were?

well in that case then, they're definitely not polished. i've gone for kind of bumpy ridged tiles so that my dog doesn't slide all over them like she does with the laminate floor :lol::lol:

just sorting out a pic of the dry lay...

he has shorts on, honest!

for some reason, our house heats up brilliantly when the central heating system is on, and even turning the thermostat down has no effect. plus hubby is a southerner and struggles with the cold anyway....
