Knee Pad Help - Which do you use ?

After opting for foam inerts for my last job ( 600 x 600's ) it took my knees a week to calm down from water on the knee - they were useless .

I'm looking at the snicker bead inserts as my next purchase . What about ome of the more expensive gel pads - I don't mind putting up with strap rash if they are the best protection .

I have been using them for a while now and if you like pads in knee pocket type then these are great.

If not then Alpro or Platinum from Tradetiler Tilers Knee Pads

Used to work with some 1 who had issues with knees he bought some from tradetiler were around 50quid they were red n looked strange but said worked wonders for him

i use alpro knee pads..theres a lot of tilers on here who use and rate them highly. the strap can slip a bit rather than dig in but they are comfortable and seem to be the best ive used so far..

if i am not floor tiling, i just use the knee pads that are in my snickers for general use.

i paid about £14

I have tried alsorts over the years and used to get bad knee pian at night time due to hrs on my knees tiling floors etc..

i heard about Alpro knee pads and purchased a set.. nothing to lose i thought.. well about a year on and still using them and NO knee pain at all now.. So for me the best £50 investment i have ever made.. could not tile floors without them now.

I tried a pair of the Redbacks last week while on a course and they felt brilliant. Hard to describe them....like a soft rubber honeycomb that compresses under your weight but really comfortable and I'm sure good for your knees physically. Will be ordering a pair soon.
