Dave We hold a string line between two tiles the length of the room 20-50 mtrs then every five steps put a mark keeps the chalk line staight stone age :yes:

Old methods still work just as well if not better than some of the newer ones...but we have to try them to move with the times ..so to speak....

Its magnetic so stick it on an extendable pole the type used to hold plaster board up and and switch on it is self leveling you can have horizontal and or vertical laser lines excellent for setting out and layout work.
