anyone use this website for dvds? you pay x amount per month depending on how many dvds u want and they send you them with pre paid envelopes and you pop themin the postbox once done and choose ur next ones....looks good to me about to try it out as we live rural there is no dvd shop fro 20 miles anyone else use them?

A friend of mine does, I think there are various levels of subscription, she loves it and says it really is hazzle free,but it is a regular minimum payment for various levels, hers I think a tenner a week... good as there is no rush in watching within a few days...

seems you can do from 3.99 to 12.99 a month depending on what you watch,,,seems great to me and totally hassle free and no late payments either,,basically you dont get your next dvd till you send ther old one back

we have used a similar site for years (Blockbuster) My wife likes her films and we were satisfied with the service. Just packed it in today and putting the tenner towards sky plus insteaad

My wife has an account and we use it. You make your choices online and as soon as they get one back the next one is sent out first class. You can get through at least two movies a week.

Was a member 2 or 3 years ago, it was/is a great service but we found we just weren't using it as we should. We were paying a tenner a month which got us three dvd's at a time, problem was we were just rubbish at sending them back, so we would have films lying around for months on end so we cancelled the service. No slight on them it was us.

And as Tench says keep your list up to date, if i remember rightly you need to keep 10 films in the list in order of priority. If they are out of one they will send the next on the list, although this never happened to us as we always got our first choices.

So all in all if you use it right and watch a lot of films then go for it as it works out alot cheaper.

I've been thinking about joining again as they now have a streaming service, so as soon as I get round to buying a dongle for my TV to connect to the network i'm gonna try it out. Word of warning, when you buy a Samsung TV that claims to be internet ready, read the small print! £50 extra for the dongle:mad2:

I'm getting worse for that. What I don't get is everything needs to be dead quiet at night or I can't get to sleep. But if I fall asleep during a movie it can be loud, people can be talking in the same room, washing machine on spin etc. Think I'll try to find a seven hour long movie and I'll sleep great every night.
