Re: Major gloat 😉

looks class sir, actually looks like my dewalt sliding wood saw.i have it about 7 years or more now.at that price it's not bad,i paid over 1300 for my big sigma !! still a great buy for me and still in great nic and made its money long time ago thankfully.
I am sure pound for pound its not in the same league as your Sigma but within its own price range there is nothing i can see to touch it.

Anyone got the MK1 version i need some info ?

Re: Major gloat 😉

Be interesting to know what the mk2 gives more of

If my memory were better i would be able to tell you. I asked David at Tradetiler what the differences were but i can only remember the major one. Where the neck bolts to the frame , there are 4 bolts on the old model. Apparently this meant that the neck could twist if bolts were not tight. now they have introduced 2 locating pegs as well as the bolts making the whole thing more rigid.

Re: Major gloat 😉

I keep looking at one, just how much use will I get from it at the moment.

out of curiosity, how far into middle of a tile can you cut, can the tile overhang the left hand side of the sliding bench at all, or would it just hit the stancion when you try pushing it through?
