Had a bad case of the manflu on friday and was seriously considering not going to work but dragged my *** out of bed and just about struggled through the day, finished at 2 and was in bed at 3,got up again at 9 and went back to bed at midnight.
I woke up at 3 in the afternoon today and I felt like crap only just feeling better now 1 in the morning(can you believe Gaz,Brian and Howard are still on-line)
My question is how many of you are suffering from the unbearable manflu(which is sweeping the country) and have any of you taken time off work because of it?
If it wasn't the weekend I would of taken today off.

Had manflu just before Xmas. Went into B&Q to get some orange buckets (great for grouting, 98p) and the woman on the checkout asked how i was, told her i had flu. She proceeded to rip me to bits "FLU FLU, you don't know what flu is! bloody men all the same" carried on for a good 5 minutes while i stood there like a naughty schoolboy.
Wouldn't mind but the queue was huge aswell.

Started feeling crappy on boxing day whilst at work, by the next morning was border line dead. 4 days knocked out, recovered until new years day, started the nightshift and only lasted 2 shifts, eventually got a doctors appointment to be told i had a lung infection, servere sweats and the only way to sleep was take a swig of night nurse (Fantastic) now back to sh*tty security for the time being.
