Mapei Academy offers a series of online (remote) and in-person training activities presented by our Technical Assistance and UK Mapei Specialist team, with the aim of providing the tools necessary to get to know and use its products to the fullest and create a culture on complete systems. This service was born from the desire to share the wealth of experience that the company has built up during its 80 years of activity. Mapei training is developed through various models of free events, aimed at designers, applicators, retailers, and businesses.

Mapei's dedicated training facility is located at their 7.5 acre manufacturing site in Halesowen, West Midlands. The training days include a factory tour, product demonstrations and a complimentary coffee and biscuits. Those attending the product training courses 'in-person' at the Mapei Academy in Halesowen will also receive a goody pack and certificate of attendance.

• Substrate Preparation do’s and don’ts
• The Importance of Priming and Levelling Compounds
• Adhesives & Grouts – making the correct choice
• Waterproofing applications to prevent failures
• Membranes - successfully tiling over defective subfloors
• Practical demonstrations on a range of Mapei products
