I doubt you will save any...when you try to lift they will just break at the nearest vein..

try tapping an old bucket trowel under them but as dave says i don't fancy your chances, you masy save some and it'll be damage limitation

Marble is too soft, so don't think you can lift it in full peaces, but you have a chance to save some tiles if tiler who fixed tiles didn't spread back of the tile with adhesive, then it might some tiles come off in full

Last stuff i tried to take up came up in bits, although to be fair it was the cheapo Wickes Emprador (? something like that) so not the best quality and very weak on the veins

Agree with the guys above, Id give it a go but I really wouldnt bet my money on getting many up in one piece. Like Dontiler said, your only hope will be that the tiler layed them really badly and they are not completely fixed. What is the substrate?

another case of the cowboys !!! you'd be lucky to save any!!!
they're a pain to lift at the best of times and come up in pieces.

can he not claim the damaged tiles through insurance if they where laid that bad he might get the money back that way.
DEF Take the tiles up. give him a price to take these up stating you will not guarantee the tiles coming up in full, you might be able to cut all joints then flood the entire floor hoping the water will break up or soften the addy. good luck on that 1.
