It will work best if the remaining tiles alternate (one in another out) in a chessboard configuration allowing the saw free movement. but I don't think you will be able to save them all. Due to the tiles being expensive It may be worth the effort if the addy is not too hard. Good luck with all the above suggestions.
I normally use a small kango with wide blade chisel for lifting tiles but as dave says marble will crumble at the veins. Its worth a go and will depend on how well they were laid in the first place.
Don't bother if the tiles are down with cement adhesive it's a non starter. Whats wrong with the laying so far? If it's just lippage you may be able to Grind and Hone them????
I was lost when Aqua said it should be done chess board fashion, do you really believe that this is possible Aqua as it sounds unrealistic? appreciate your advice on this one
DEF Take the tiles up. give him a price to take these up stating you will not guarantee the tiles coming up in full, you might be able to cut all joints then flood the entire floor hoping the water will break up or soften the addy. good luck on that 1.[/QUOTE]
Then I read this!!!!!!
If you are serious about giving advice like this - I would recommend you change your occupation.
The damage you can inflict on my trade with such stupid comments beggars belief and must surely be a wind up or from someone with no Knowledge of tiling.:ban:
