just watching holmes on homes

hes ripped out someone else work , which tbh didnt look that bad but hadnt been finished

made a lot of noise about doing the job right and using the right tradesmen, methods and materials
ripped the previous work apart and slagged the original contractor at every oppurtunity

laid shlutler to the floors and back coated the slate before laying

replumbed showers , tanked with matting

all well and good so far you might say



then dot and dabbed the slate on to the shower walls

Once you have seen his programme you dont need to see another...all the same...Never rated him at all. But thats TV for you.

he certainly "talks the talk" but harps on about getting time served tradesmen to always do the work, then proceeds to tackle every trade himself. A bit contradictory imo.

I'm surprised hes dot n dabbing them I've watched loads of these and he normally trowels on. I think he is goo because he always does jobs the right way but his finishes (especially tiling) is pants! ugly!

he had a tiler in for this one. i thought he was spot on as he was explaining about back buttering and his tiling was good

then a few shots later someone was sticking the shower and dotted the addy

ive noticed before that his blokes do the tiling not him

I think he talks a good job but the others do it

its all show biz
