Yes Doug, he's the one.

He was my main inspiration when I first started out working as a carpenter ~25 years ago.

I made a few "Norm" things, got a great router table
Norm is my Hero in the woodworking world.

I made my own router table out of mdf

norm inspired

when I left the firm I was putting it in my van and they wouldnt let me take it

I had made it on their time out of their material so they were keeping it

they told me I had made one so I could make another

never got round to it, it was brilliant as it folded falt and had infeed and outfeed tables

I also made a saw table to match which they also kept

you could fold them into the van and then set up a workshop on the front drive of the house we were working on

all of this system was norm inspired, all I wanted was a chevy pick up and a check shirt
