mitre joints on marble?

I go two-thirds with the mitre and pull the edge back a couple of mils.
I'll try and post a pic to show. Personally I prefer a clean butt :lol: But some customers insist on mitres so I compromise.

Managed to post pictures in my album of mitres ive done on external corners on a job i did, still cant post pics on normal replies tho .

i think this is because it is softer. it is my first time working with marble so am learning as i go. maybe if they weren't so large it would be easier.

oh yeah, took the cutter back and now have a sima perla. haven't used it yet, anyone got one?

A lot can depend on the size of the image I think. For in-post insertions I think the size is samller than the albums.

Ive also mitred hard marble too but no pics and darker marble you can buy different colour resins with and harderners same effect.

I prefer this look to miter joints.
The pic are of a travertine shower and was taken before the haze was wiped off.
I use a tungsten carbide file to round the edges and then polish with several progressively finer grits of diamond scuff pads.
